CarnVal is a research and dissemination project focused on the importance, meaning and origins of Carnival and Festive Traditions in Europe, as well as on the management of their contemporary expressions, linking cultural heritage, social practices and cultural policies.
World Humanities Conference
The Institute of Earth and Memory (ITM) played an active role in the preparation of the World Humanities Conference, co-organised by the International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences (CIPSH) and UNESCO, contributing to international debate on the role of the Humanities in addressing global challenges.
